archaeopteryx are one of the most famous dinosaurs and usually studied in high school biology (yes even in the USA) it's a bit sad and scary that you dont know it

Ah that was so lovely. I have been doing more plein air painting this year and it is always so calm and relaxing. Not always the best weather for it. So I may have to take a museum trip too. So inspiring.

Jess I hate to say it but what James Gurney did to your piece is a travesty. I am absolutely stunned. Just listening to him and the other artist in his video made me cringe so many times. He turned it into a history lesson on pop art and barley focused on the collab.

Sunlight will accelerate the "yellowing" of nonacid free paper but such paper will yellow even in the presence of air over time. Use Acid-Free Paper. This is a question and you are too young to have experienced it long term, acetate is not an acid-free material, as you said, an ingredient is wood pulp, will the acid in acetate leach out over time and effect artwork? The acetate itself yellows over time. Just the second video of you I have seen - love you!

I absolutely loved this video. I'm an illustrator by trade but with 20+ years in the game have evolved into more of a graphic designer/branding identity professional artist. Over the years with work and family, I've lost the time and impetus to dive into my sketchbook like I used to right out of school. I stumbled into your channel after doing a YT search for the best travel art kit, and have since devoured your content when given the chance. This video in particular reminded me of how much O love to draw from life (especially animals and science)! Thank you for the inspiration 💡✨

What a project! Nothing is too daunting for you, LOL. So fascinating! I LOVE museums and this one was a gem. Such an amazing place! What a great learning experience not only for drawing but managing your time and process by choosing only the important strokes to create the image. Just imagine the budding artists you've inspired there just by witnessing your process! This could be a watershed moment in their young lives!

I spent every day of the 9th grade in after school detention hall because of one teacher. She'd get hacked off because I would spend the entire class drawing. But what REALLY torqued her off is I would ace her exam every Friday. It was many years after I graduated that a study showed that drawing during a lecture is an excellent way to retain knowledge.
